Earlier this month I had the privilege of attending an art contest. Here was my submission.

Neutronite

This is awesome; I love your use of foreground and backround techniques.

So did the judges, except for one he wrote and I quote, "Not enough detail in the backround." This comment disturbed me as my intention was to bring my characters into focus.

I sortn of agree with him. Just a little. You could have maybe added more detail but used darker colors, that way attention still would have been drawn to the awesome butt kickedness.
