Dot.Hack//Sign Girl--Codename "Doll"

I sketched the actual drawing last night, so I decided to ink and scan the image into PhotoImpact(Like Photoshop). I colored it using layers so as not to disrupt the crisp black outline. The green hair was done with the airbrush function with a size 5 nozzle. The three tones in the hair give it a sense of dimension and texture.

I got the idea while watching some anime re-runs of Dot.Hack//Sign and the new series on Cartoon Network call Dot.Hack//Roots. Currently I'm incorporating my characters into the manga that I am producing and experimenting with animating my own short anime.

Soon I am going to provide a tutorial on Manga/Anime character creation. Hopefully the next post will be the first tutorial.
