How to draw--"EYES"

Okay guys this type of post is a "How to" post. Today I'm going to show you some eyes that I drew a little while ago.

There are a few important things if you want to draw manga style eyes.

1. You need to draw the outline like a football, got it. But it doesn't need to be that shape exactly.

2. What emotions does your character usually portray model your eye off of that.

3. Pupils, first draw an iris circle then the shine (if any) then fill in the pupil.

4. Next highlights these include eyebrows, creases and shading: feel free to use the examples above for inspiration.

5. Be creative, go crazy with your designs and make improvements!!

Why O Why does this picture rock?

Maybe it rocks because yuske is taking out five guys all at once, or maybe its because of the streaming colorful energy blasts are totally destroying the enemy. Ah, that's it, it's color that makes this picture rock. You see if there is bright and contrasting shades it draws the eye to the action.

Fan Art... This is what a fan does when he really, really likes what he sees on television or in comic books...

The greatest thing about this picture is the emphasis on the shading! Good shading is what makes the picture worth looking at, because have you ever seen a black and white picture with no shading, yeah I know it stinks.

But anyway I just wanted to show you this awesome picture of Freiza, Buu, and Cell from DBZ.

The shading on this picture is exceptionally good. The contrast between light and dark draws the eyes to the hair and face of the character. The detail is of Goku is greatly enhance by the shine effect on his forehead and arm. Dragon Ball Z is probably one of the best animes ever made because of its story and cinematic effects.

I like manga style art

Hi everbody, the manga style is a wonderful way to express dramatic scenes and to express dramatic emotion at the same time. Look at the the chirisma and character in this picture. It shows several angles of emotion. The only don't like about manga or anime is the "NASTINESS" and if you like the nastiness stay away from my site.

What medium do you like to use in your art?

Personally, I like to use pencil. I like to use those drawing pencils and I like to use mechanical pencil when I am drawing anime and other things. When I draw, I like to master what I am drawing at every angle.
